New Build - Screw Pile Foundations
Commonly used on Eco-Friendly projects, Screw Piles are becoming increasingly popular on new build projects. Being able to pile close to tree roots and other foundations, that traditional foundations are unable to. Because of their ability to reach down to stable geological strata, screw piles can be used on sites with a wide variety of soil characteristics, including those found in areas near water. By screwing the piles deep into suitable soil or bedrock, foundations capable of withstanding large compression and shear forces can quickly be created, with minimal noise and near-zero vibration. Once the piles are in place, a concrete ring beam can be bonded to the top of the screw piles, providing the perfect foundation upon which to build.
